Now, here's the f*cked up part.
1. When you start noticing that I'm pricking your kid too much
- because his veins are just too bloody fine to cannulate.
2. When you feel that your baby isn't getting enough attention from the doctor
- because I've gotta give attention to the other 30 babies in the NICU.
3. When you were so worried about your kid, you asked a million questions
- when I had other more pressing issues to settle.
4. When you found out that your child is fine, you constantly nagged about how fast your baby could be discharged
- because you don't care about my medicolegal issues on negligence, you just wanna go home
5. When you feel that you've been kept waiting
- because I've been waiting for the Senior Medical Officer, who was waiting for the Specialist. So if I can take it up my @$$, i'm sure you can too.
6. When we give you an appointment date, you don't bring you baby for a follow-up
- because now, you've become a specialist after learning from the nurse during your stay in the NICU.
7. You mom's don't breastfeed your own child, but you complain about the hospital food
- because .... umm... ah..because... well,...hmmm. I dunno. Even I hate hospital food.
So, backfire or FIRE BACK!!
*Neonatal Intensive Care Unit = NICU

Let go all that we live and die for, as we never cease to delude ourselves in matters that eventually, fade in time. Yet, the first thing that comes to mind tomorrow is always the face of the one you love.
